Something as simple as baked chicken breast can be exceptionally spectacular with a few simple steps of preparation in advance. This baked chicken breast recipe is a fabulous single or a first step for a variety of my favorite recipes.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 c. Smoked paprika soup
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 C. Cayenne pepper, optional
- 1/2 c. Kosher salt tea
- 1/2 c. Ground black pepper
- 4 boneless and skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup of butter
INSTRUCTIONS
- In medium bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper.
- Dry Rub the chicken ingredients in a glass jar.
- Place the chicken breasts in a wide zip and for seasoning on the chicken. Shake the chicken to coat.
- Transfer the chicken to the refrigerator and marinate for 30 minutes or until 24 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Remove the chicken from the bag and place it on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Place 1 tablespoon of butter on each chicken breast.
